With the Invisalign procedure, teeth are corrected with the help of transparent, elastic splints (so-called Aligner) is carried out. Here, 3D computer technology is used to produce a whole series of aligners from very precise two-phase silicone impressions of the teeth. The individual aligners are then worn in a predetermined sequence, thereby realising the desired tooth correction. They are very comfortable and almost invisible. During this type of orthodontic treatment, optimal oral hygiene is easily possible as the aligners can be removed for eating and brushing teeth.
Adults in particular appreciate Invisalign, as they can simply remove the aligners during professional meetings, for example.

Example A
A young woman's second incisors in the upper jaw were not in place. The left milk tooth was still present but could no longer be preserved. The central incisors had moved to the right. The missing teeth were to be replaced by implants. To do this, the central incisors were moved back to the centre to make room for the implant restoration.
The treatment with Invisalign lasted 6 months.

Example B
The left second incisor in the upper jaw of a 35-year-old woman was missing. The right second incisor was too small and cone-shaped. The missing tooth was first to be replaced with a Meriland bridge and later with an implant. To do this, the central incisors were moved back to the centre to make room for the implant. The gaps in the front of the lower jaw were to be closed.
The treatment with Invisalign lasted a total of 15 months.

Example C
A 64-year-old female patient suffered from crowding in the anterior region. The left canine tooth in the lower jaw was on the outside of the crossbite, which the patient described as a "vampire tooth". To shape the dental arch, an anterior tooth in the lower jaw would have to be removed.
The treatment was carried out using the Invisalign technique and lasted ten months.
